Hi everyone, it has been six weeks since my removal surgery. Since there have been no particular issues, I understand if my posts are becoming increasingly less detailed. My nose is still firm (not hard and tight like a surgically operated nose), and I can breathe well. Occasionally, I feel something like a worm crawling, but it lasts only a few seconds, just a fleeting moment. According to what I asked ChatGPT, these can occur while the sensory nerves are recovering: A tingling or electric-shock sensation An itchy feeling at the tip or bridge of the nose A prickling or needle-like sensation The feeling that sensation is gradually returning to a previously numb nasal tip A pulling or mildly numb feeling in the skin I still cannot tell whether the contraction phase has started, but my nose has not lifted and the shape of my nostrils has not changed. Even when I gently massage it, the bridge does not hurt. The bruising inside seems to have almost completely disappeared around the fifth week. The swelling has gone down a lot, and now it simply looks like my natural nose. Everyone recovering after removal surgery is probably going through a similar process, so please do not worry too much.
