(I’m planning revision surgery)
It’s my first time hearing about raising the line with the two-line dissection technique. My double eyelid is on the thinner side, but I also have scarring and no extra skin, and I have a bit of lagophthalmos where my eyes stay open when I sleep. So I got consultations because I’m planning revision surgery this time.
Clinic ㅇㄷㅍ recommended partial incision + upper epicanthoplasty, but it feels like they apply the exact same surgical method to everyone
At clinic ㅁㅊㅍ, the director refused to operate They said it would be difficult to improve more than now, and if there’s no extra skin, it would be right to have surgery later, when the skin sags in about 10 years..
And at clinic ㅌㅇㅅ, the director consulted with me very confidently. They said that in a state with no extra skin, it would be hard to remove the scar, but if they set a thin line just a little higher using the two-line dissection technique and lift it, the existing scar would go underneath it, so it would improve compared to now. But no matter how much I search, it only says two-line dissection technique = lowering the line.. Has anyone here been recommended raising the line with the two-line dissection technique like me, or had this kind of surgery??? How were the results??? I heard ㅌㅇㅅ is famous for revision surgery; what do you think? Can I trust them with my final surgery?
