I recently had a consultation at ㅇㅇ Hospital for a revision rhinoplasty event and made a reservation. This was my last consultation, and the terms seemed decent, so I put down a deposit. But this place performs the surgery with autologous costal cartilage. I did consider using donated costal cartilage too, but after weighing the various pros and cons, I’m still not sure. Has anyone had revision surgery with autologous costal cartilage? How long did recovery take? But now my mind is wavering again. Some places say that even for revision surgery, septal cartilage can be used, some say donated costal cartilage and ear cartilage should be used, and some say autologous costal cartilage should be used. I don’t know what the difference is. I don’t know whether it’s simply the method the doctor prefers, or whether they decide after looking at the patient’s condition. After looking into it again, Jeongseok Plastic Surgery is specialized in revision surgery and specializes in septal cartilage and ear cartilage, so I’m planning to go there once more too. I’ve already paid the deposit, but it would be better to go there once as well, right?
