Last Tuesday, after undergoing incisional double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, and fat removal, I had temporary decreased vision, eye pulling, heart palpitations, and light glare, but most of them disappeared after the stitches were removed. However, from last Saturday, which was day 5, I suddenly had ear pain and heard a little tinnitus. I visited the plastic surgery clinic and an ENT clinic, and they said it was unrelated to the surgery. Every time I swallowed, my throat hurt, and I had pain like my ear was expanding and about to burst, so I visited another ENT clinic. I was diagnosed with otitis externa, where the inside of the ear canal was irritated, and was prescribed medication. After taking the medicine and putting the prescribed medicated drops into my ear, the ear pain whenever I swallowed was resolved… But I can hear a faint tinnitus in my left ear… It’s not enough to interfere with daily life, but I still keep hearing a very quiet, faint tinnitus… I’m not sure whether this is due to symptoms involving Müller’s muscle from ptosis correction, or whether the otitis externa in my ear hasn’t fully healed yet My head feels heavy and I also have slight dizziness…. I don’t know whether I should undo the ptosis correction or wait and see more for the sore throat and otitis externa… I heard the golden hour is 2 weeks, so I’m worried and posting this
