The year before last, I had rhinoplasty using donated costal cartilage at a clinic, and they said Director Heo uses costal cartilage well, so I think I did well to go with what was recommended.
Because my nose was low, I wanted to raise it with a more dramatic feel, and the line was shaped in the feeling I wanted. Since it was my first rhinoplasty at the time, I was debating which material to use, ear cartilage or costal cartilage, and I went with the donated costal cartilage recommended by the director. I think I did well choosing donated costal cartilage. I heard that if donated costal cartilage is done wrong, warping can happen often, but so far I have been doing well without bending or any particular symptoms. I was very worried what I would do if I needed revision surgery, since it seems many people end up having revision rhinoplasty, but thankfully haha
Also, during the consultation, there was no overtreatment. The director talked about the pros and cons of my face and tended to be very straightforward, and because he identified those aspects well, I think he designed it well with the materials I needed and a line that suits me, so I like it.
The consultation atmosphere was not heavy and was comfortable, and I liked that he had a friendly style haha. If there is anyone looking into a clinic for their first rhinoplasty, I would like to recommend at least getting a consultation.
