In my case, it was a secondary reversal.
For the first reversal, I had the V-Y reversal method, and about a year after the reversal, it had almost returned to the original state (I won’t say the hospital name even if asked.. it gets tiring) Medial epicanthoplasty reversal can also open back up, so please really look into it carefully before doing it..
I learned about the reverse skin repositioning method as a reversal method without dehiscence, so I looked for hospitals that perform surgery with that method, and I received a lot of recommendations for ㅅㅋㄹ and ㅇㅂ.
For the reverse repositioning method, Director Song at ㅅㅋㄹ seems to have many cases, and during the consultation he was very realistic and clear, which is also why I decided on Director Song.
If you look at the photo from day 1, there is a slightly pointed shape, but my pre-surgery shape was excessively pointed.. I had already been told it could not be made more rounded.
Pre-surgery distance between the eyes: 3.4 Post-surgery: 3.8
I had the stitches removed on day 8, and I’m very satisfied with the current state. When I looked into reverse skin repositioning, I had also heard that there were many scars, so I did worry a bit, but honestly, this much can hardly even be called a scar.. It’s healing much better than I expected, and I think my satisfaction will be even higher once the bruising fades.
I still need more time to pass and keep watching to know for sure, but I can feel for myself that it is very different from the first reversal, so I think this surgery really went well.. whew
