My male rhinoplasty was a real success (I had a hump nose + arrow-shaped nose)

People around me also often suggested that I should get rhinoplasty, but I kept putting off the surgery because I was afraid, thinking, “What if something goes wrong?” Because of my unattractive nose, I developed a habit of always covering my nose when I laughed, and I lost a lot of confidence in my face. I had also seen many people whose image changed completely just from rhinoplasty, and people around me still kept recommending rhinoplasty, so I decided not to put it off any longer and to have the surgery. I ended up having surgery at a place that definitely felt more professional than other places. Right after the surgery, I had a slight low-grade fever, and because cotton was packed in my nose, I could only breathe through my mouth, so my throat kept getting extremely dry and it was uncomfortable. There was no pain at all, but because my nose was blocked, it felt like something was refluxing, and it felt unfamiliar. I was surprised that it hurt less than I expected, and all I could think about was wanting to get the cotton out of my nose quickly. After the cotton was removed, the incision site on my nose and the area where ear cartilage was harvested were itchy, but it was bearable. After a week, once the splint was removed and I looked at my nose, the bruising was almost all gone, and I could breathe comfortably. There was still swelling in my nose, but I immediately felt that the surgery had gone well. After about 2 weeks, it seemed like most of the swelling on the bridge of my nose had gone down, except for the nasal tip. After 1 month, the swelling of both the nasal bridge and nasal tip had gone down a lot overall. People around me say the surgery turned out well, naturally and not too artificial. I think it came out at just the right height and in the shape I wanted. Originally, my nose was a complex, so I used to take a lot of selfies while wearing a mask. Now I’ve lost a bit of weight compared with before surgery, and my nose looks good too, so I’m taking selfies as much as I want with my mask off.
