Thanks to everyone’s recommendations, I finally got thigh and calf liposuction at a clinic in Gangnam this time! There was really so much information that I agonized over it, but I narrowed it down to just 2 places for consultations. Since I was going to do my calves too, I chose clinics specializing in the lower body! The first place I went to was also famous, so I visited, but the price was higher than expected, and by my standards, even though I got a detailed consultation, I still felt unsure. Then I went for my second consultation at the clinic in Gangnam, and the doctor explained things so clearly that I thought, “Ah, I’m sure I should do it at this clinic” (I think the consultation alone lasted about 1 hour!). My body type has narrow pelvis bones, but the saddlebag fat was acting like the pelvis and making my line look curved, so I decided to do only the front and inner thighs. And in my case, they said that if I removed the outer side, there was a possibility my hips could sag, so it would be better not to do it if possible, and that made my concern about hip sagging disappear lol. For the calves too, they said I had a lot of fat on the outer side, so we should only do the outer side, and I think the surgery cost ended up being lower than I expected (++and they said the inner side had a chance of pigmentation, so I didn’t insist and just did only the outer side as the doctor said). And I split the calf and thigh procedures over 2 days. The doctor said that for surgical concentration, we should do the calves first and then the thighs the next day, and honestly I thought that was right too, so it made me even more think I should do it here. Also, there was no consultation fee, no pressure to put down a deposit, and the clinic manager only told me the price according to the director’s chart! I hadn’t even set a date, but I felt like I really wanted to do it here, so I thought about putting down a deposit and said I’d do that. But the manager said let’s have me transfer the deposit after I decide the surgery date, so I was able to have the consultation comfortably! -------------------------------------------------------- Now I’ll tell you my real calf surgery review! Honestly, there aren’t many liposuction reviews for calves across all clinics, so I worried a lot too.. I’m leaving this to help! Personally, I thought if I got thigh liposuction and then the calves and thighs differed in thickness, it would bother me and I’d look into liposuction again, so I just did it all at once. In reviews from this community, people who had it done at that clinic sometimes said they woke up from anesthesia, so I went in really nervous lol. But the doctor said today’s calf procedure would be simple, so don’t be nervous and don’t worry, so I just trusted the doctor and lay down on the operating table. The surgery took about 1 hour, and I didn’t wake up from anesthesia or feel pain during the surgery. And I could walk better than I expected, so after coming home I even walked around the mart with my mom, and I had no problem walking. I also barely bruised, so rather than the operated area hurting, it was just that the stitched areas stung a little. The surgical incisions were also placed one by one in the ankle crease areas, so I don’t think I’ll really need to worry about scars.
