I wanted to do it in Seoul, but they said consultations alone would only be available in March-April, so first I went around to places nearby that seemed somewhat well-known. This is written based on my subjective experience, but since there’s much less information than for Seoul, I’m writing it so anyone who wants to use it as reference can.
For reference, this was my first double eyelid surgery consultation, and the common opinion was incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction.
ㅇㅃㅅㅅ -I had a reservation, but still waited 40 minutes (even though it was a weekday, there were many people) -The line was held with a toothpick (it hurt) -Partial incision + ptosis correction -1.55 million including VAT (based on after Lunar New Year) -The director looked at me for only about 1 minute and went right in, and I mostly talked only with the consultant -The director seemed like a busy office worker, and the other staff were generally kind (the consultant who saw me was so-so) -AS for 5 years; if it comes undone, they do it once more.
ㅇㅇㅁ -Consultation order was consultant > director > consultant. For reference, I had the longest consultation here. Other places took 30 minutes at most, but here it took about an hour -They showed before-and-after photos of other patients and explained what would happen if I got this surgery and why I needed it -They recommended incisional double eyelid surgery + brow lift. -Unusually, they said I had to decide the millimeters of the double eyelid myself. -The consultant kind of... compared with other places, said this place had been around for over 20 years and asked how many surgeries they must have done, so it felt like they were urging me to do it there -With the review-agreement applied price, incisional ptosis correction was 1.37 million, brow lift 890,000 (if you don’t write a review, it goes up by roughly 400,000-500,000 won)(10% VAT added) -Consultation fee 10,000 won
ㄷㅌㅇ -When I said I came after searching, they seemed surprised and said most people come to them by word of mouth -This was the only place where I consulted only with the consultant. But unlike other places, they recommended medial epicanthoplasty + non-incisional ptosis correction. (If I do medial epicanthoplasty, the distance between my eyes narrows, so my eyes are risky for that) It just felt like that’s what they’re best at? -When I said I hadn’t heard about medial epicanthoplasty anywhere else, they were proud and said that’s because those hospitals can’t do it, so they don’t mention it. From here, I felt like it didn’t really fit me. -My epicanthal folds aren’t that severe, but they said if I don’t do medial epicanthoplasty, even if I get double eyelid surgery it will come undone quickly... -Event price 1.5 million -AS 5 years

-Personally, the double eyelid line they held here was my favorite. I talked with the director first, then with the consultant. -The director also checked while holding the line several times, and the consultant was kind too -AS 1 year -They do local anesthesia during 10 minutes of sedation anesthesia -About 1.6 million -Consultation fee 10,000 won

The director also held the line several times and only told me what my eyes needed. -Maybe it was because I didn’t know anything, but after waiting 30 minutes, the consultation ended in 15 minutes lol. We didn’t talk in much detail... -I remember it was 1.4 million with 10% VAT separate
I went around to five places, but there wasn’t really anywhere that made me think, “This is it!” so I’m wondering if I should just wait and go do it in Seoul If I choose from the places I consulted at, I think I’d choose among 2, 4, and 5... From my personal experience, the older the hospital, the more pride they seemed to have in their skills~
