I’m exactly 2 years and 3 months out from my rhinoplasty, more specifically hump nose correction! I didn’t use autologous costal cartilage or any other cartilage, and since my skin is on the thinner side, I had ear cartilage and artificial dermis used together~ I had the hump removed and also had the bridge and tip done~
I think I’ve read posts saying that a hump can come back over time, but thankfully it has been maintaining very well without any distortion so far~
It’s holding up this well with ear cartilage, so if it were autologous costal cartilage, it would probably be even more glamorous and even more sturdy, right?
Well, I’m not thinking of having revision surgery though haha
Anyone who had a hump and then had it removed will probably know..
Even if just the hump is gone, haha, most of the urge to get rhinoplasty... drops a lot lol
