Before<before rhinoplasty>before<before rhinoplasty>after<after rhinoplasty>after<after rhinoplasty>I had rhinoplasty because of a cleft lip and palate. On the day of surgery, it was hard because I had to breathe through my mouth, but after the gauze on my philtrum was removed the next day, it was fine. From the day the splint was removed, for about 3 days I had quite a lot of runny nose, so I lived with tissues nearby, but after that, almost all discomfort from the runny nose disappeared. The hardest part was not being able to wash my hair for a week. My ribs had a painful sensation for about a week even with just movement, but after about 2 weeks, they did not hurt except when coughing or sneezing. The swelling also went down faster than I expected. Of course, since I had rhinoplasty for cleft lip and palate, I can’t say I am 100% satisfied aesthetically, but I think the side-profile nasal line came out really well, so I am very satisfied with that.
