In winter 2017, I had double eyelid surgery (buried suture) + epicanthoplasty. Then I thought, I should just ask at the clinics, so I searched everywhere on apps and communities and did a lot of online research I mean, aside from the eyes, my nose was seriously a huge problem, so I searched a lot to figure out where I should fix this bulbous nose First of all, my nasal bridge isn’t on the low side, but the hump + nasal tip/alar area were too much, so I think I focused on clinics known for doing noses well.
Because I work in Jeonbuk, it wasn’t easy to make a schedule for in-person consultations, so I spent a long time researching online.

In the end, after adjusting based on distance and schedule for possible in-person visits,

I decided to go to ㅇㅍ after looking through this community because it seemed like they did noses and eyes well, and I decided to visit ㅁㅇㄷㅇ after seeing it on an app. The others were large clinics, and I liked their event packages, so I chose them. What I felt when I went to the first clinic, ㅇㅍ, was that unlike other places, it strongly felt like a one-on-one patient-doctor setup. I liked that it didn’t feel like a factory, and when filling out the chart, I could write down my expected price range, which would have been embarrassing to say out loud.
First, I consulted with the consultation manager, then had the consultation with the director, then consulted again with the consultation manager. The consultation manager smoothly told me useful tips and key points, which was nice. There was some waiting, so I did wait a bit, but I was satisfied because it felt like they filled the consultation thoroughly enough to be worth the wait. I was told that for my face, my nose should be prioritized rather than facial contouring, and I could roughly get a sense of the direction of the surgery. Up until the manager, I didn’t think much of it, but after consulting with the director, I thought I didn’t need to go to the consultations at the next clinics (sorry to the later clinics..) Even when I was flustered and asked all kinds of questions, he explained in detail, and I could trust him because he explained the surgical methods and pros and cons without hiding anything. It felt different from the consultation at the clinic where I first had double eyelid surgery, and I think it also stood in contrast to the directors at the clinic I went to with my younger sibling for their double eyelid surgery Almost like falling in love at first sight, I strongly felt I should just do it here, and correcting my bulbous nose was my most urgent stress. I was relieved because the director seemed confident about bulbous nose correction. After the director consultation, I had another consultation with the manager, and it was nice that she honestly told me about unnecessary, miscellaneous procedures and only recommended the surgeries I really needed. They also matched the price better than I expected, and there was no pressure to book, so I was the one who said I would book first ^^ I don’t know, so I said I’d book right away and booked it. So I couldn’t go visit the other clinics.... In the end, surgery decided^>^ I’ll go get it done well~~!~!~
