Before <before surgery>Before <before surgery>Before <I was curious about what my eyes would look like after double eyelid surgery, so I purposely made the line higher and took a photo before it came undone>After <immediately after surgery>After <2 days after surgery (stitches not removed)>After <7 days after surgery (the day after stitch removal)>I had eye surgery at a single-surgeon clinic in the provinces that's really famous for eye surgery! I told the doctor that I do have double eyelids, but they're thin, so I wanted them raised only enough for the line to show when my eyes are open!
They said I have a lot of fat on my upper eyelids, so we should proceed with incision + ptosis correction + fat removal, and that even if they make the line higher, the thick feeling from the skin can't be erased. They said that would only go away by cutting under the eyebrow and lifting it (they weren't suggesting doing it now, and I don't think of it as a complex, so I didn't do that).
My concern is that the area above my double eyelid line feels super thick right now, and I don't know if it's still swelling or if it's the thick feeling from upper eyelid fat that the doctor mentioned
It's only been 7 days since surgery, so of course it's swelling, right~????
