I’m currently 2 weeks after cheekbone surgery!
I’m in a battle with swelling and bruising.
My bruising was severe from the beginning, so when I went for a follow-up,
the consultant looked so shocked it was like she was going to faint ㅡㅡ
Anyway, it’s been 14 days? 15 days?
The candy-like swelling is still quite full, so it feels like my facial fat is sagging
I didn’t even get fat grafting, but it’s like I did get fat grafting
and my face is puffy, you know that slightly Gangnam unnie kind of feeling It’s exactly that
I didn’t know swelling would worry me this much..
I sometimes have pain around the temples, and sometimes around the cheekbone area
there’s a tingling sensation.. I just think, well, the nerves are coming back
and I’m recovering, and leave it at that..
I don’t have anything like my eyebrows not lifting or numbness
It’s just about the feeling of being numb after dental anesthesia?
Some people say they can’t tell if something gets on them, but it’s not at that level. I have all sensation, so I don’t think there are any particular side effects.
If swelling counts as a side effect, then I guess that’s the side effect
I also just got the stitches inside my mouth removed, so will the swelling go down much more?? It really has to go down!!! Someone please tell me tips for reducing swelling.
If there’s anything you’re curious about, leave a comment! I’m off work right now, so I’ll answer whenever I can!!
