Eye Surgery Reviews

1-month review of natural adhesion double eyelid surgery (improvement of multiple double-eyelid folds)

Before <Before surgery (left-right reversed)>Before <Before surgery (left-right reversed)>After <1 month after surgery → the swelling on the right side has not gone down as much>Before <Reference eyes I brought (Oh Yeon-seo) → designed so the end of the line opens out more>[Summary] - First surgery

- Needs 1) Improve the multiple double-eyelid folds on the left (into one line) 2) Make the faint line on the right clearer 3) Pursue a natural look that preserves the feel of the existing line as much as possible

- Reference eyes: Oh Yeon-seo (thin out-line)   → The inner corner area is similar, but the design made the line spread slightly more toward the outer end

- Surgery: natural adhesion only (no canthoplasty/ptosis correction, etc.)

- Result: satisfied

- What I liked about the clinic 1) Detailed consultation 2) They carefully set the line until the very end 3) They only recommended necessary procedures 4) Postoperative aftercare (swelling injection, swelling laser) 5) Revision surgery is possible even after 1 year by paying only the material cost

I already had natural double eyelids, but as I entered my 30s, one side became faint and the other developed multiple double-eyelid folds. It changed because of protruding eyes + thin skin + hollowing above the eyes, and the multiple folds that increased when I was tired or as evening came were the most stressful. My natural eyes were already fully open, so I did not want canthoplasty. I wanted to keep my existing line as it was, but have it neatly set as just one line.

Everyone said it was an easy surgery, but for someone like me who defended my nose and graduated, there is no such thing as an easy surgery in this world.. I think you have to prepare your best for any surgery.. So I narrowed it down mainly to clinics known for natural results and went to consultations at about 6-7 places.

No matter which clinic I went to, there were no review photos for cases improving multiple double-eyelid folds. Maybe because it is not a difficult surgery from the clinic's perspective... I had to rely only on the line they made during consultation, and most of the lines they made were similar! But among them, this clinic said, “It will come out exactly like this!” and seemed the most confident about the surgical result, so I decided on this clinic. The doctor used to be at another clinic and had only recently opened a one-doctor clinic, so there were reviews only on other apps and not many real reviews in this community, which bothered me a lot, but the reviews on another site were okay, so I trusted them and chose it hehe

The result is...... I love it so much! The eyes I wanted were a thin semi-out line like Oh Yeon-seo’s, and it came out exactly the way I wanted. I went for my 1-month follow-up last week, and they said my right eye still has a little swelling, but the left has gone down by more than 95%..! You can still see that caterpillar-like feeling on the right, right? They said that will disappear. Right after surgery, the swelling in my right eye was especially severe, so I expected the swelling to go down unevenly hehe. Oh, they said I’m a case where the swelling went down quickly, so keep that in mind when deciding on your surgery timing.

Including the pre-surgery consultation, I had a total of 3 consultations, and every time the consultation was detailed. I especially liked that they designed it very delicately until the very end after I got on the operating table, and that they did not recommend unnecessary surgery ~!

To be more specific, the line they make during a regular consultation is just a preview, and during the consultation right before surgery, they spent 40 minutes just on the line.. And even after I lay down on the operating table, they kept checking it hehe Also, I brought Oh Yeon-seo’s eyes as my desired eyes, but they adjusted it a bit, saying that for my eye line, it would look prettier if the line spread more toward the end. At the time I was like, huh, really? But looking at it now, this really is better hahaha

And since I have quite severe hollowing above my eyes, some places said I absolutely had to get fat grafting above the eyes, but those places did not seem to consider how thin the skin around my eyes is?;; Of course there are people who do well with fat grafting above the eyes, but I heard that for people with thin skin like me, it can be very noticeable, and conservative clinics told me not to do it because the upper eyelid area is hard to correct if something goes wrong, so I had absolutely no intention of doing it.

Most of all, what stressed me out was not the hollowing above my eyes but the multiple double-eyelid folds, so if fat grafting above the eyes was not essential for improving the multiple folds, I did not want to do it. But the doctor gave me a choice, saying, “Fat grafting would help improve the hollowing above the eyes, but if you do not want it, you do not have to do it. Improving the multiple double-eyelid folds should also improve the hollowing above the eyes a little. However, if you do fat grafting, the line needs to be set differently from the current line, so you need to decide before surgery.” This was the only clinic like that~~ Thanks to that, my hollowing above the eyes improved even without fat grafting!

Oh, I also liked that they did swelling laser every time I went for follow-up hehe. They said the doctor would prescribe swelling injections if needed, and I got them twice: on the day of surgery and at the 7-day follow-up. The injection definitely had a stronger effect than the swelling laser!

AS is free within 1 year, and even after 1 year, if I want to change the line, they will do revision surgery for only the material cost, which I think is amazing. I already like it, so I probably will not need it though.. hehe

There were not many real reviews of this clinic, so I wrote this long review. I hope it helps everyone considering surgery.

Then bye
