Today I went for consultations at ㅈㅇㅈㅇ and ㄷㄷㅇ My concerns were a hump / low bridge and low nasal tip!!
Um, first ㄷㄷㅇ!!
-I think the waiting time was about 20 minutes (I think I also waited a bit after entering the consultation room) -I first had an overall consultation about the surgery with the consultant, and also discussed the nose line I wanted with the consultant! -The consultant was kind and made it feel very friendly and comfortable -The director consulted while looking at photos taken of my side profile -As soon as I went in, the director drew on the photo the line he thought would suit me well, touched my nose while consulting, and said my nose stretches well, so he thought it would turn out well And he said I have a hump, so it would likely need shaving, bulbous nose correction, and osteotomy He also said that if donated costal cartilage is needed during surgery, it might be used -He said I can show photos of the nose shape I want before going into surgery (this was a bit questionable) I think the consultation with the director lasted about 5 minutes and ended -When I came out, I think it took about 1 hour 10 minutes total (including waiting time)
ㅈㅇㅈㅇ -There was less waiting time than ㄷㄷㅇ -I didn’t really consult much with the consultant, only about surgery schedule and price -The consultant was somehow kind but had a very polite/formal feel?? lol -I think the director actually made me feel more comfortable -No photos were taken; he just drew on a printed sheet with a nose shape on it during the consultation -The director also kept telling me to ask anything I was curious about -I showed him a photo of the nose I wanted, and he said it wouldn’t work because the facial proportions were different lol But he said although it couldn’t be exactly the same, he understood the nose shape I wanted and would try to make it similar
Both said CCTV could be viewed if I told them in advance ㅈㅇㅈㅇ said there would be an extra fee if I viewed it (but both talked as if I didn’t need to see the CCTV) I think both had 1-year AS, and they said it only applied for side effects (contracture, inflammation), not design-related issues
Ah After getting consultations, I’m even more torn I think I’ll get consultations at about two more places and then have surgery Everyone here who has had surgery at the two hospitals above, please share your reviews
