My alar reduction was successful

I had a typical bulbous nose, plus wide nostril wings + thick skin, so it was seriously a hopeless bulbous nose.. I had all the bad conditions But blindly getting rhinoplasty felt scary, and I was afraid of side effects too, and I’d also seen many cases where people later removed implants, so I timidly decided to just do alar reduction, consulted at a hospital specializing in nose surgery, and had the surgery.. What I did was alar reduction + correction of drooping alae + columella grafting! I didn’t do the nasal bridge. It’s now been about 2 months since surgery, and even though I didn’t particularly raise the nasal bridge, my nose looks slimmer and also looks more defined. At first there was quite a bit of swelling, so I wondered if alar reduction really couldn’t solve it after all, but as the swelling gradually went down and it settled, the size of my nose really decreased so naturally My mom also has a bulbous nose, and she scolded me, asking why I would touch my nose, but once I actually did it, she said my features came alive and was wondering whether she should do it too They say the swelling goes down more until 6 months, but I’m already sufficiently satisfied now haha
