I have a nasal bridge, but I have a slight hump, my nose is large, and the tip droops downward. So I only wanted bulbous nose correction by lifting the nasal tip and tying the cartilages.
1. ㅎㅌ I went because I heard they’re famous for bulbous noses, but they didn’t really talk about excessive correction. They said to lift the nasal tip with septal cartilage and fill the step-off with ear cartilage, and mentioned cartilage tying and removing fat from the nasal tip. For nostril base reduction, they said it wouldn’t count as a revision even if I did it later, so we should watch the progress. I liked it, but since it was my first clinic, I skipped it for now.
2. ㅁㄱ I made a reservation because they have a lot of experience and only one nose doctor, so it seemed okay. Here, they said lateral osteotomy of the nasal bridge, nostril base reduction, and that they would lift the nasal tip only with ear cartilage, not septal cartilage. (As far as I know, septal cartilage is stronger so I think it’s usually used, but I’m also scared of having septal cartilage cut out, so I wonder if using only cartilage is better. If anyone knows, please comment..) I really liked the review photos on ㄱㄴㅇㄴ, but what they showed me at the clinic felt a bit too pinched? + When I said I didn’t want osteotomy or nostril base reduction, they said that was okay.
3. ㅍㄹㅇㅂ I booked here just because it’s famous, but they seem to like flashy results. They said to use costal cartilage and even put in silicone, so since I wanted no implant, I lost interest.
4. ㄴㅇㄷ There were only good reviews in this community, so I quickly made a reservation and went. First of all, both the consultant and the director were kind, and they explained while touching my nose. Here too, they mentioned septal cartilage, cartilage, cartilage tying, and trimming the hump. They also recommended nostril base reduction, but when I asked if I could do it later, they said yes. It hasn’t been open long, and since it’s a one-doctor clinic, it was clean and nice, but there are a lot of private comments on question posts, so I’m scared..
Honestly, I’m leaning toward ㅁㄱ and ㄴㅇㄷ, but I wanted to ask everyone here, so I’m writing this.. Please tell me if you recommend or don’t recommend ㅁㄱ and ㄴㅇㄷ, or share reviews Also, if the nasal tip is done only with ear cartilage without using septal cartilage, does it droop again quickly?
