My vision isn't good, and I have astigmatism, myopia, and dry eyes too. I'm also pretty much new to cosmetic procedures, so I'm taking a more conservative stance.
I think LASEK would be better for me, and I feel like I should get consultations at two or three places to find out which surgery suits me best.
But my mom wants to just get the examination and surgery done at a place recommended through an acquaintance on the same day.. Of course, the recommended hospital is famous, large in scale, and has many specialist doctors! It seemed like a place well known for SMILE LASIK.
My worry, though, is that since it's a hospital that does a lot of SMILE LASIK, they might try to recommend that path even if I don't really need SMILE LASIK, and that's what I'm concerned about~
