My current situation is that my nasal tip is off-center and the silicone implant is also crooked, but strangely, it doesn’t show much, so I just lived with it. Since I’m taking a break from work now, I’m looking into revision surgery.
I went to two clinics..
At the first clinic, they only took a CT scan from the side, and they said my nasal tip looks crooked because my face isn’t left-right symmetrical, and that the silicone isn’t crooked.. My face really isn’t symmetrical.. I struggled because of this when I had double eyelid surgery Anyway, they said my intranasal cartilage is too small and would be difficult to use, so they suggested surgery with autologous costal cartilage + silicone. They advertise that this doctor has over 20 years of experience, so I felt trust in them..
At the second clinic, they took CT scans from the side and another angle, and while showing me the images taken sequentially from above, they immediately noticed that the silicone was crooked. They said if the intranasal cartilage (I can’t remember the term...) isn’t enough in size, they would use ear cartilage with silicone... I trusted them because they noticed the crooked nose, but compared with the first doctor, there weren’t many nose reviews.. Maybe because they do eyes, nose, and fat grafting all together... It’s not that there are no reviews at all..
Where would be better to do it?! Would autologous costal cartilage be sturdier?! Are the scars severe?!!
