When I was young, I just followed my parents without really knowing anything and had incisional double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty in my neighborhood. I don't have any particular side effects or major scars, but my outer eye corners were originally quite sharply upturned, and the symmetry was off. My original eye shape + one eye that had epicanthoplasty has a slight Mongolian fold and the double eyelid forms as an inline crease, so it feels like it looks even sharper. Now that well over 10 years have passed, my double eyelid line has gotten thinner, and surgeries like lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty have developed more, so I’m starting to want to correct eyes that look more like a fox than just a cat-like look Now that I’m older and thinking about touching them up again, I want epicanthoplasty reconstruction, lateral canthoplasty, under-eye fat repositioning, and there are so many things I want that it’s giving me a reality check... As there are more options, it actually feels more complicated, I guess. Suddenly thinking about revision surgery and trying to look into it has made it even harder. I’m looking into places specializing in revision surgery, but until I go for consultations in person, I feel like I’ll just keep overthinking by myself
