Even hospitals that put the director’s name on the line can’t necessarily be trusted

I had my first eye surgery last year at a hospital that operated under the representative director’s own name, and it was ruined I waited 1 hour for the consultation and had about 5 minutes with the director Back then I had no knowledge about plastic surgery at all, so I didn’t do any online research or in-person legwork; a coworker recommended it, so I just did it there... life mistake The line came out completely different from the line I wanted, and when I opened my eyes, the double eyelid line just wasn’t visible to the point there wasn’t even space for eyeliner The worst botched part was the lateral and lower canthoplasty, and because of that my smiling eyes got wrecked. I lived every day like I was losing my mind and couldn’t take it anymore, so in the end I decided to undo the lower canthoplasty Even then I waited over an hour, and when the doctor came in, he put dots under my eyes and said just one thing, “See you on the operating table,” then left in 5 seconds Then they put in an IV and left me alone for 30 minutes. I got exhausted and asked the nurse when I was going in, and only then did it seem like they vaguely got me in Thinking about it now, I didn’t even see the doctor’s face before they put me under sedation, and I got a wound on the mucous membrane side. (When I asked at the time, they said it was because I moved during surgery. I didn’t want more stress, so I let it pass, and the wound healed quickly too) Maybe they felt guilty too, because they did say they’d do revision surgery, but I didn’t want it ruined again, so as soon as it had been 6 months, I had revision surgery at another hospital, and I’m fairly satisfied now.. not 100%, but about 70% I keep thinking that if I’d known what online research and in-person legwork meant back then, maybe I wouldn’t have wasted the money
