Both ㅎㅂㄴ and ㅅㅍㄹㅅ described a surgical method where fat is inserted and fixed in place by reinforcing the septum along the orbital bone.
At ㅎㅂㄴ, it’s done by the head director under local anesthesia. (They personally performed my mother’s lower eyelid surgery.) At ㅅㅍㄹㅅ, it’s with Director ㄱㅇㅅ under sedation anesthesia. (The consultation manager had under-eye fat repositioning surgery from Director ㄱㅇㅅ.)
But it seemed like ㅎㅂㄴ calls this 2-step periosteal fixation. But I feel like this is the same thing being called by a different name, no?
Since I didn’t plan on getting fat grafting in the first place, I only looked for a conservative list of clinics and got consultations.
Has anyone received only repositioning at either of these two places? Both said there would be no hollowing after surgery, but can anyone who’s actually done it tell me how it was? Please
