I’m kind of debating, so could I get some help?
I had double eyelid surgery when I was really young. I just had the line fixed with the buried-suture method at a local clinic where my friend’s results came out well. Back then, I didn’t know about ptosis correction or canthoplasty, and I was so clueless that I thought just getting double eyelids would be enough. Even at that clinic, they didn’t really pay attention to this and that; they just made the line, you know? My eyes aren’t on the large side, but I don’t know why I didn’t get canthoplasty haha.
I went for consultations at about 5 places, and among them, considering reviews (I liked the line or image), consultation style, price, and so on, there are 2 places that seem okay, so I’m debating
Custom They only suggested the surgeries I needed. I said that if possible, I wanted epicanthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty all done, but the director said there isn’t much space for lateral/lower canthoplasty and my eyes may not see a big effect. They said my eyes could look much more open just by doing epicanthoplasty and making a thin line with natural adhesion. Ptosis correction: not really needed. Since my eyelids are soft, my eyes could become defined enough with double eyelid surgery alone. There was a bit of a wait? The consultation was on the slightly longer side.
AB As soon as the consultation started, they tried making the line first and then asked what I wanted. Rather than adding on all sorts of things, it felt like they listened to what I wanted and explained, “Then you can do it like this,” something like that? I liked the line they made. They said I could probably do the buried-suture method one more time, and for canthoplasty, if I wanted lateral/lower canthoplasty, I could do it, that kind of level. There was a bit of a wait, but the consultation felt concise and substantial, covering exactly what was needed.
If anyone here has had revision double eyelid surgery at those clinics, it would be great if you could share information. Or if you think one seems better just from looking at this, please let me know more!
