A lumping phenomenon developed between the lower part of my under-eye fat repositioning area and my nose. It looks fine when my face is expressionless, but when I smile, it seems to protrude. When I press firmly on it, only the lumpy area can be felt with a clear boundary. It looks awkward to anyone, and it feels like it doesn’t blend with my face.
According to the doctor, only a small amount of fat grafting was done, so it isn’t fat, and they said it happened because my existing facial muscles shifted. They did say it would get better over time. But it’s been about 5 weeks since the surgery now, and there’s no improvement.
Has anyone here had this kind of side effect after under-eye fat repositioning surgery? The clinic only tells me to wait, so I’m posting because I feel frustrated.
