Even up to 3 weeks after double eyelid surgery, I still had some bruising left, so I wondered when it would go away, but around 4 weeks, the bruise marks had faded enough to be covered with makeup. The swelling also went down pretty quickly after the stitches were removed, though at first the swelling went down at slightly different speeds on the left and right sides. Now they have gone down similarly, so I’m satisfied. At this point, a lot of the swelling has subsided, so I’m doing well without any discomfort. I hope this exact double eyelid thickness stays maintained. Other people also say it looks very natural, so I’m really satisfied. Now the redness from the inner corner canthoplasty has also faded a lot, so it doesn’t really bother me. I like the line too, and I hope it stays about this way going forward!
