So I wanted to fix the loosened eyelid line again and make my eyes look more defined. My eyes tend to look a bit sleepy, so I thought improving the line was essential When searching online, I set criteria like private clinic, clinic with CCTV, and clinic with no separate fee for aftercare, and visited several places in person.
Then I became more interested in the clinic where I got my revision because the director had performed eye surgeries for a long time at the clinic he was previously at, and the clinic itself specializes in revision eye surgery. (The consultant said they have more revision cases than first-time surgery cases.)
For the surgery, I did not want to have to look into a third surgery if it came undone again, so we mainly discussed an incisional approach and went ahead with it. So I had incisional double eyelid surgery with ptosis correction, and reconstruction for the canthoplasty I had previously done. Of course there was swelling right after surgery lol But after the stitches were removed, I could feel it going down quickly. The canthoplasty reconstruction also turned out well with no visible scarring.
Maybe because it is a one-doctor clinic, the director personally removed the stitches and monitored all my care and progress. The photo is one the clinic gave me at week 2, and by then all the bruising was gone and only some swelling remained.
