I started noticing this a while ago. My rhinitis has been extremely severe for the past few months, with my nose running and bleeding constantly. I used an entire box of tissues, rolled tissues up and put them in my nose to wipe it, and used cotton swabs often too haha. Other than that, nothing special happened. When I booked a removal consultation, they told me I should receive separate treatment for rhinitis at an ENT clinic, so I went to one nearby. After receiving rhinitis treatment, I asked about the area visible in the photo, and they said, “It just looks like cartilage?” Two days later, I went to a plastic surgery clinic founded by an ENT specialist for a removal consultation. I asked again, and they said it was not inflammation. If it was not a skin problem, it probably just looked like cartilage, so I should treat my rhinitis and wait and see... The area visible in the photo is slightly raised, and in the mirror it looks exactly like a blister. It does not hurt. It is easy to see in person, but it does not show well in photos Please look from a little farther away. I am currently taking the medication prescribed by the ENT clinic and using ointment and spray. Will this actually go down? Also, can cartilage suddenly protrude like that? I plan to start visiting places for removal consultations around the week after next... Can I take my time and schedule consultations while trusting that it is not inflammation, or should I urgently make time? I’m worried. If anyone here knows about something like this, please help.
