After graduating from middle school and before entering high school, my mom dragged me along and I had epicanthoplasty and double eyelid surgery.. At the time, I had no double eyelids, snake-like eyes, and my eye shape was tilted upward, so I had quite a cold impression. Also, because of ptosis, the area between my eyebrows protruded a lot. Honestly, rather than being forced, I just did what I was told because I did not think much of it, but my impression improved, and once the ptosis was gone, the area between my eyebrows softened, so I think I ended up with a softer impression, at least compared with before.. But the inner front part of my right eye was bunched up, and they said it would be fine once the swelling went down, but it has stayed the same for 18 years.. The swelling went away, but the skin in that area stretched and drooped a bit. Honestly, now it does not bother me much except when I draw eyeliner, but at the time, that clinic said they specialized in natural-looking eyes and did thin double eyelid surgery. My friend had it done at the same place, but apparently she made a fuss asking them to make it thick, so they did it thick. Thanks to that, her eyes are really pretty.. Because I got thin double eyelid surgery, when I am tired and my eyes swell, I get double lines in my eyelids ..please, really look into it carefully before you go..
