Revision Rhinoplasty (Aquamid Filler Removal & Mole Removal): 10-Day Review

Hello~ This is my revision rhinoplasty review. Six years ago, I had a closed rhinoplasty using ear cartilage to raise the tip. The method involved tying the cartilage without a support and reinforcing it with ear cartilage on top, so over time my nasal tip gradually drooped and caused me quiet stress. I was told that using costal cartilage gives the most durable result for the tip, so I focused on that and consulted several clinics. However, I could not find one that satisfied me: the consultations were inadequate, the coordinator handled them or the doctor was too busy, their preferred direction differed from mine, or they did not properly address foreign-material removal and mole removal that interfered with the tip line.

I was beginning to think revision surgery would be impossible when I found Dr. Kim Hyeon-ju's surgery in another review. I decided to consult here further, and the points I was concerned about—the foreign material and nasal tip—as well as the overall shape I wanted matched well, so I decided on surgery. Fortunately, the surgery went well, and I am very relieved that even the famously painful costal-cartilage pain was almost nonexistent. By my standards, my nose still feels a little high, but there is still swelling, so I expect it to settle gradually. I hope this will be my final nose for a very long time, without complications...!
