It’s been over a month since I finally had nose surgery, so I’m writing this as a progress record lol. I used to be a kindergarten teacher, but I quit in February this year and am preparing to host children’s programs. Every time I monitored myself, my low bridge and short-looking nose kept bothering me, so I finally made the big decision to have surgery. I was extremely stressed because my nose contours always disappeared on screens and cameras; as you can see in my preoperative photos, the area from the starting point of the bridge was quite sunken, and my tip was short, with the columella tucked inward, so my face looked somewhat stuffy from both the front and side.... I also had a slight hump, and breathing was uncomfortable because of rhinitis, so I had functional nose surgery at the same time. My requirements were a little?? demanding: I wanted a natural, understated straight-to-slightly-curved line without looking excessive, and I wanted to avoid donor rib cartilage as much as possible~ I absolutely didn’t want my eyes to look crowded from making the bridge too high lol. So during my consultation at D-Day, I kept telling the director that I also had to film broadcasts and that it absolutely couldn’t make my eyes look crowded, begging them to create a clean line I may have tired the director out by whining so much... lololol But they didn’t show any irritation and continued consulting with me with a smile until the end They said they would match the starting point between the eyes, raise the sunken area, lengthen the short nose, lower the columella, and connect everything smoothly in a straight-to-slightly-curved line, so I immediately scheduled the surgery! I had the bridge, tip, hump, short-nose lengthening, columella lift, and two functional-nose procedures all done. When I took a side photo at two weeks, I was incredibly moved because there was absolutely no feeling of my eyes being crowded, which had been my biggest concern lol. The columella that had been tucked inward rose to a pretty angle, and the line descending from the bridge to the tip became very clean. Once the short-looking nose was lengthened, my overall proportions also looked much neater!! Now that it’s been one month, the residual swelling has gone down and everything has settled considerably. Can you see how the bridge looks thin and slim from the front? Also, thanks to having the functional procedure done together, the stuffiness from rhinitis has disappeared completely and breathing is unbelievably comfortable lol. Even when monitoring myself, my nose no longer disappears like before, and my features look much clearer, so that’s what I’m most satisfied with
