I had a closed removal surgery for ear cartilage + Medpor + silicone, and most of the surgery was done on the right side. But from day 5, when the splint was removed, until now, only the area above my left nostril has become hard and firm, like a lump of tissue, and has bulged outward. It makes my nose look more crooked, so I’m extremely worried about it and even dreaming about it T_T
I visited the hospital, and they said tissue can become hard while the wound heals after Medpor removal. But I’m wondering: although the Medpor was removed on the right, could the area above the opposite, left nostril also swell or become hard like this? I’m worried that it might not simply be swelling or clumped scar tissue, but cartilage sticking out instead T_T
Has anyone had only the area above one nostril become hard and bulge after surgery, like me? Please tell me whether it went down over time or whether there was another problem.. I’m so bothered and have a headache right now…… Everyone, please help me T_T
