Three-month review after breast revision at Waterdrop Plastic Surgery for implant rupture and capsular contracture

In 2011, I had 290cc Allergan implants inserted through armpit incisions. Over time, rippling developed in my left breast, and the implants felt almost immobile, which made me increasingly anxious. I began looking into revision surgery. After consultations at several clinics, an examination by Dr. Lee Young-dae at Waterdrop Plastic Surgery confirmed rupture of the right implant, capsular contracture on the left, and a double fold. The consultation was thorough, and the doctor explained the surgical plan according to my body shape and desired volume, so I felt I could trust him. In the end, I had revision surgery with 375cc Motiva implants inserted through an inframammary incision, and it has now been three months. At first there was swelling and a pulling sensation, but it gradually became more comfortable. Now the balance between both sides has improved, and I like the natural UIU line that rounds downward. The texture has also become much softer. I felt reassured because I received careful progress checks and postoperative care throughout recovery. I was very worried because it was revision surgery, but now I’m satisfied with the shape and feel so relieved that I worry about my breasts much less than before. They are still settling, but so far I think I made the right decision by choosing revision surgery 💕
