[Clinic A] Double-chin liposuction + muscle tightening: 3-month review

Three months after double-chin liposuction and muscle tightening at [Clinic A]. I was extremely self-conscious about the fat under my chin when viewed from the front. My jawline was hard to see and my face looked somewhat large... Even dieting did not reduce the fat under my chin, so I eventually had surgery. In early July, I had double-chin liposuction and muscle tightening with Dr. Lee Min-young at [Clinic A]! Since it was my first surgery, I had many worries and questions beforehand, but I liked how the doctor explained every single thing I asked. The clear explanations made me trust the doctor during the consultation, and I also liked how the coordinator explained things directly. My biggest concern after surgery was pain, but it really did not hurt as much as expected!! I barely felt pain from the liposuction or muscle tightening; instead, perhaps because of the anesthesia, my sore throat was the most uncomfortable part... That also improved within a week, and otherwise it really did not hurt much. I also had almost no bruising! You could barely tell I had bruises just by looking at my face, and although there was some swelling, it was not as severe as expected. I wore a compression band for about a week and had it removed at the clinic. From then on, I could feel the swelling gradually going down, and around weeks two to three, the area under my chin felt slightly hard or lumpy. I thought this could happen during recovery, so I did not worry much. There was still a little hardness until about one month, but now it has almost returned to normal. Most importantly, the contour has changed a lot!! (I used warm compresses and massaged with lotion.) Before, when I turned my face sideways, I could see the fat folding under my chin, but now that has decreased a lot, and even when I look down, the double chin is not as visible as before T_T From the front, the area under my chin looks cleaner than before, and the difference is definitely noticeable from the side. Since I naturally have fuller cheeks, my entire face did not change dramatically, but the area under my chin—the part that stressed me most—improved a lot, so I am satisfied! It has been about three months now, and personally I think it might have looked even more dramatic if I had treated other areas too. Still, I am satisfied because much of the stress from my double chin is gone haha. I was very worried at first because it was surgery, but there was less pain and bruising than expected, and it seems to be becoming more natural over time, so now I feel glad I did it!!
