During the consultation, rather than explaining the surgical method in detail, they said that they would only know after entering the operating room, which made me feel a little anxious as a patient. Of course, I understand that the method can vary depending on the situation during the actual surgery, but I wish they had explained in advance at least what possibilities there were. I also asked several questions about things I was curious about, but the answers often felt unclear and ambiguous, which was disappointing. The surgery itself is important, but I believe it is important for patients to decide after fully understanding and accepting the situation, and that part felt somewhat lacking during the consultation. Personally, I could not feel certain based on the consultation alone, so I had many reservations.
