Nose Surgery Reviews

I cleared out my seven-year-old Hiko two months before the wedding photos

The first thing I wanted to resolve while preparing for my wedding was my nose. I had Hiko and nose filler seven years ago, but after so much time, the shape was no longer as pretty as before and felt ambiguously left behind, so I did not want to preserve it in my wedding photos either T_T. The ceremony was about six months away, but the wedding shoot was in two months, so I did not have as much time as I thought. I consulted three places in total—DA, Miho, and ID—and had surgery with Dr. Hwang Se-hwi at ID. From the beginning, I said I wanted a style with a clearly high bridge and a straight-line profile, even if it looked slightly more obviously surgical, rather than an entirely natural nose. Since I had existing Hiko and filler, they removed them, then used silicone for the bridge and septal cartilage plus donor rib cartilage for the tip, while also correcting my short nose and bulbous nose. Functional nose surgery was done as well. Right after surgery, my biggest worry was what if the swelling did not go down before the wedding shoot, lol. Especially when the tip was very puffy, I wondered if I had done it too late, but seeing it decrease day by day reassured me. Now my bridge is much more defined than my former low, blunt nose, so the center of my face looks different. From the side, the straight-line profile I wanted is most visible, and the tip has gathered into a slimmer shape, giving a distinctly glamorous feel. Once the short-looking nose was brought into proportion, my nostrils looked less prominent from the front, and I also like that the tip no longer looks spread out as before, haha. Above all, it feels refreshing to have cleared out the Hiko and filler from seven years ago and shaped everything anew, lol. From the consultation with Dr. Hwang Se-hwi at ID, I kept emphasizing that I wanted clear height rather than a natural look, and I think the result matches the direction I had imagined. I just hope the remaining swelling goes down a little more before the wedding shoot T_T. I was really burdened by having nose surgery before my wedding, but now I enjoy looking at my profile in photos, so I am satisfied, haha.
