It has been about three years since I had medial canthoplasty. The distance between my eyes was originally wide, and I also had epicanthal folds, so I had it done. I kept the result fairly natural, and since I prefer a face with some space between the eyes, I did not open them up much. There is a small scar, but it is not very noticeable and I am not particularly bothered by it, so I have just been living with it. Later, I would like to have revision surgery or some scar removal.
