Three months have passed since my protruding-ear surgery. I was very worried about scarring, but since the incision was made behind the ear, I felt reassured. The incision was about 1 cm behind the ear, so I even asked my friends whether they could see the scar, and they asked where it was. My ears stand very perkily now, but it is true that I still keep worrying about lying on my side when sleeping or lying down. Still, I can see that my ears look good whenever I look in the mirror, so I am very satisfied with the surgery so far and think it was a good decision. I went for follow-up about twice, and I don't think I will need to go many more times. There is no pain at all. I heard the effect is amazing if you also get ear filler, so I am thinking of getting that too after about three more months, if possible. If you are considering protruding-ear surgery, I really recommend Dr. Jeong Tae-gwang at Mano.
