Double-eyelid surgery consultation review

My pupils were partly covered by my eyelids, so I visited three clinics for consultations: [Clinic A], [Clinic B], and [Clinic C] in Seomyeon, Busan. My outer eye corners turn upward, and my eyes are naturally small and uneven. I used double-eyelid glue for about a year, but it was too inconvenient, so I decided to consult about surgery.

At [Clinic C], the consultation felt insincere. They said double-eyelid surgery alone would be enough and that eye-opening correction was unnecessary. At [Clinic B], the first consultation was with a coordinator who had also had double-eyelid surgery, but her eyes looked overly done, so I did not like it. They said I needed partial-incision double-eyelid surgery, medial canthoplasty, and ptosis correction. I could not meet the doctor because they said I needed to make a separate appointment.

At [Clinic A], they arranged for me to meet the doctor right after speaking with the coordinator. The doctor said my eyes were difficult and should be made small rather than overdone. They proposed ptosis correction, medial canthoplasty, and double-eyelid surgery. They explained in detail that my eyelids covered my pupils, making my eyes look heavy, and that because I opened my eyes using my forehead muscles, my expression looked less favorable and forehead wrinkles developed. The cost was about 1.3 million won; [Clinic B] and [Clinic A] were similar. I did feel a little more trust in [Clinic A].
