Nose Surgery Reviews

One month after natural-looking rhinoplasty

I had a slight dorsal hump and it had always bothered me, but I disliked noses that looked too obvious, so I wanted an absolutely natural result. During the consultation, I told the doctor I wanted the most natural look possible. I remembered being told at another hospital that septal cartilage would be sufficient, and when I mentioned it, I appreciated the detailed explanation of the difference between septal and ear cartilage. I wanted a natural, rounded look, so I chose ear cartilage and decided on implant-free rhinoplasty. We proceeded by smoothing the hump only slightly and subtly rounding the tip without an implant. I was less nervous than expected on the day of surgery and did not feel particularly painful afterward. My nose felt a little blocked, but it was bearable, and painkillers did not make daily life very uncomfortable. It has now been about a week; swelling was less severe than expected and there was almost no bruising. The tip still feels a little firm because I am recovering, but I think it will become more natural over time. What I like most is that my impression has not changed much while my profile looks much cleaner. People who want a natural look, like their original nose, rather than a glamorous nose will probably be very satisfied. I am looking forward to seeing it after more swelling subsides and it settles!
