Nose Surgery Reviews

Pinocchio nose revision surgery review

I had nose surgery at another hospital to correct a bulbous nose, but honestly, I was extremely dissatisfied with the result. They made my nose far too pointy, and my columella looked cut away. They also raised the bridge and tip too much, creating a sunken, step-like area in the middle. It looked exactly like a Pinocchio nose. I lived with that nose for about a year, but every time I looked in the mirror I felt terribly stressed. I hated showing my nose so much that I didn’t want to meet people, and I felt bad whenever I took photos. My side profile was especially severe, so I unconsciously tried to face forward during conversations, and if someone sat beside me, I kept turning my face away while talking haha. I visited a plastic-surgery community almost every day to search reviews, received information through private comments, and compared hospitals extensively. While researching, I learned about Jeongwoo Plastic Surgery. Most of all, I felt that the doctor’s natural style matched the direction I wanted, so I immediately booked a consultation. The consultation proceeded with the doctor first and the coordinator afterward, and I liked that the doctor came first. The coordinator mainly organized and explained the surgical details and cost. The doctor did not simply promise that everything was possible; he clearly explained what could not be done while trying to reflect my wishes as much as possible. My nasal tip was so pointed that the cartilage was visible, and he explained in detail how it could be made more natural and rounded. He said he would preserve and improve it as naturally as possible, so I booked surgery immediately after the consultation. The best thing about the surgery here was that they didn’t place packing, so breathing was very comfortable. There was less swelling than I expected and almost no bruising. Honestly, I was very worried because it was revision surgery and afraid it would hurt, but the areas where ear cartilage and temporalis fascia were harvested surprisingly did not hurt at all, and I took Tylenol only once, in advance because I was afraid it might hurt. I remembered taking Tylenol all night after my previous surgery because of the pain, so it was amazing. After about a month, the signs of surgery were barely noticeable, daily life was comfortable, and I met many people. People I met recently couldn’t even tell I’d had nose surgery unless I told them haha. That was exactly the kind of natural change I wanted, so thank you, doctor T_T. I do wish I had known about Jeongwoo Plastic Surgery from the beginning, but I’m truly relieved that I was able to meet a good doctor and undergo revision surgery now. I’m so satisfied with the result that the stressful time I went through feels wasted, and if you want a natural, not-overdone nose like mine, I think it would be worth having a consultation. I confidently recommend it to people around me too. 😊
