At first, I only looked for places that were good at minimizing scars, but after having consultations, I realized you cannot focus only on scars. If you raise only the area behind the eyebrows, the sagging in front may remain, and from an overall perspective it could actually look awkward, they told me. So they assessed the degree of sagging at the front, middle, and back of the eyebrows together. My outer eye corners were especially droopy, and I also had a habit of using my forehead to open my eyes, so they said it was important to consider the overall balance rather than simply cutting away sagging skin. It was my first time receiving such a detailed consultation, and as I asked about this and that, the consultation lasted longer than expected lol. They said bruising and swelling can vary from person to person, so I allowed plenty of time in my schedule. Since I had already made up my mind, I wanted to do it quickly and simply asked them to proceed. Honestly, before surgery I worried a lot about everything from scars and swelling to whether my eye shape would change, but afterward I wondered why I had worried so much lol. I especially disliked how droopy my outer eye corners looked, and once that area was tidied up, I was satisfied because it came closer to the look I wanted. Rather than feeling like I had become a completely different person, it felt as though only the stuffy, droopy impression of my original face had been reduced. Before, I looked strangely sad in photos, which bothered me, but these days my eye area looks more defined, so my whole face also seems to have more vitality. Of course, I still need to watch the progress, but so far I am truly satisfied. If anyone around me is stressed by sagging skin above the eyes or drooping outer corners like I was, I would tell them to at least have a consultation at Cela Plastic Surgery.
