I am writing this double-eyelid revision review from the Lunar New Year holiday in 2025 to get upgraded. I originally had monolids and had buried-suture surgery once in my second year of high school (2014). But as it approached 10 years, it gradually loosened and my eyes returned to monolids with just a crease. I had been planning revision for a long time, but felt I could not postpone it anymore, so I went to the famous [Clinic A] and had it done. Since it was revision, the cost was considerably higher. During the consultation, I said I wanted a slightly thicker line than before but did not want a major change in my impression. They said the desired thickness should be fine, so I proceeded. They also recommended eye-shape correction because my opening force was weak, so I had that too, but honestly I cannot feel a big difference.. My eyes do not feel very different from after the first surgery. Still, they said it would help with durability compared with buried sutures alone, so I did it (after one came undone, I became scared). However, during the consultation they spoke politely, then in the operating room they suddenly asked informally, “How old are you?” as if asking a middle or high school student.. I am 29. It made me suddenly afraid because it felt like they were operating without even looking at my chart. Before I had time to say anything, my mouth was covered with the surgical drape and sedation began, so the surgery just proceeded.. In the end, I got double eyelids again, and they are thicker than my original line, so my eyes look glamorous and I like them. But my eyes are already uneven, and my right eye sometimes comes undone in the morning, so overall I do not recommend it… I wrote this to earn points, but I hope it helps.
