It was quite a long time ago, so I do not remember the exact amount, but I think it was in the one-million-won range.
To get straight to the conclusion, the crease designed during the consultation was very different from the actual surgical result, and one side came undone before six months had passed! The loosening itself was something I had been informed about in advance, so I could accept it as bad luck, but I remember being extremely disappointed by the result being so different from the consultation and by the clinic’s attitude when I raised the issue.
The reason the result had to differ from the crease designed during the consultation was that the director lifted my forehead while creating the crease. The problem was that my forehead would not lift just because I was having double-eyelid surgery lol. I did not know this because it was my first cosmetic surgery, but everyone should keep this point in mind... Thanks to that, I had a forehead lift and revision eye surgery at another clinic... If I had known I would need a forehead lift, I would never have had double-eyelid surgery in the first place...
They did say they would perform the revision for free, but when I complained that I was unhappy, instead of saying clearly what they would do, they asked whether I really thought the crease had come undone, whether I wanted it raised, and what I wanted, saying they would do whatever I wanted. Seeing that made me step back because I felt that if it went wrong again, they might say they had done what I wanted. Looking back, it was the best choice.
