Eye Side Effects

There’s a doctor whose definition of eyelid correction is different

I asked how the eyelid correction was done, and the doctor said:

"Eyelid correction = I cut away the sagging skin. I didn’t touch the muscle."

That makes no sense, and even when I asked again, that was the only answer I got. What’s even more frustrating is that I can’t tell whether eyelid correction was actually done or not. I think they probably did it, but I’m frustrated because I don’t know the method. When I asked whether it could be reversed, they just said it was impossible. If they removed sagging skin, then of course it would be impossible, but that is called incisional double eyelid surgery.

It’s been 3 months since I had epicanthoplasty, double eyelid surgery, and eyelid correction, and because of the side effects I’m suffering from headaches, tinnitus, and discomfort keeping my eyes open. I’m miserable.

My left eye was fine when there was swelling from 2 weeks onward, but from 1 month it started feeling heavy and uncomfortable to open. At 2 months, tinnitus appeared, and by 3 months I even got headaches.

Can side effects like this improve with time? It’s still in the process of healing, and I heard that at 3 months the scar tissue? skin becomes the hardest

I wonder whether anyone here recovered on their own.
