At first I asked them to make my first surgery look natural, but I didn’t like the line and my eyes looked even duller than before surgery. So I started looking into revision surgery and got a consultation. Because my eyes looked so cramped, I wanted to widen the inner corners too when I got double eyelid surgery, but the director said if I did an overly aggressive inner canthoplasty, the space between my eyes could become too narrow or the inner corners could show too much, which could make my expression look harsher, so he recommended gently refining the conjunctival line with upper canthoplasty while keeping the distance between my eyes. I liked that he didn’t just agree to cut everything open however I wanted, but instead recommended exactly what fit my eyes. We decided to smooth out the hooked shape and turn the cramped in-line into a refreshing in-out line, and after the consultation I felt completely relieved. I’ll keep looking at more clinics, but if I end up getting surgery here, they said the aftercare will also be good, so for now I’m leaning heavily toward it.
