Skin Treatment Reviews

BST community review

Even though I exercise a lot on a regular basis, the sagging lower belly that appeared after I gave birth by C-section would not go away. I thought maybe mini surgery would be enough since only the skin below my belly button had sagged a little, but once I went in for the consultation and looked at the ultrasound, they said my rectus abdominis muscles had separated by more than 5 cm, and that the separation ran all the way from the upper abdomen to below. To fix all of that, a mini procedure would not come close to being enough, and even if the incision had to be longer, they said I would need the full procedure to get results. At that point, I trusted them because they were not just guessing by eye, so I accepted the longer incision and went with the full procedure. The full abdominal lift alone was originally 800, but the added 200 for double-layer rectus repair raised the expected cost a bit. Still, one month later, I am completely satisfied with the result. My waist is slimmer, and the sagging lower-belly skin that would not go away even with intense core exercise has completely disappeared, so I can even wear a fitted dress now. Recovery was not as hard as I expected, and if someone around me had a similar concern, I would recommend it.
