Consultation review for double eyelid revision at [Clinic A]

I went to Gangnam for a consultation because I am planning to get revision surgery at [Clinic A].

The reason I chose this place is that I personally feel more comfortable going to a private clinic and one with a relatively high price range (I guess I should say I feel more comfortable taking on the risk financially).

My first surgery was also at a private clinic, and all the consultations I went to were also at private clinics and eye-specialist clinics. The reason I need revision is that the right side loosened up!! (I probably rubbed it way too much, and because of exam stress I was crying almost every day, so I think the thread could not hold up..

I was completely satisfied with the place I had before, so I just went back planning to do it there again, but I really wanted to add an upper canthoplasty. However, when I went for the revision consultation, maybe because they were busy, they just said let us do it the same way and handled it somewhat carelessly

I think it did not match my needs very well this time, because I wanted to add some canthal widening and change the line a bit more. Still, I would recommend them a lot, really, because they are meticulous and good. They really pursue a very natural result and do not recommend canthal widening unless it is actually needed. So I recommend them too. If you ask, I can tell you more.

I found [Clinic A] while searching because the reviews were good (upper canthoplasty.. I really wanted upper canthoplasty). I like eyes that are not overdone and do not look obvious, with a nice visible inner corner, like Jihyu's eyes or the eyes of Chinese actor Po Sang. But they also seem good at upper canthoplasty, plus it is a one-doctor clinic and the doctor has a lot of experience, so I went there. I was satisfied with the consultation.

At least they said they would do the upper canthoplasty, so I felt my mind leaning that way. They also suggested slightly lifting only the outer end of the line. The doctor seemed extremely confident and very proud of his own surgical method. That can be both a strength and a weakness, but since this is revision surgery, I was not that scared, and feeling that he was confident instead of vague about surgery was reassuring. Also, the consultant in charge was very round-faced and cute. Yay. But how should I put it, the consultation moved so quickly that I had a little less time to explain what I wanted? Since this was not dissatisfaction or a revision due to a complication, they just looked at my eyes and decided what to do, then explained it all in a rush. Still, it was okay (and the consultation felt friendly and kind, which I liked, so I relaxed), so I think I will go with them anyway. I hope this helps people who are deciding. One thing worth considering is that all the clinics I know and all the places I consulted were private clinics!! Places with somewhat high prices and a lot of specialization.
