I came here through a referral from someone I know, and since burial method surgery is considered relatively easy, I decided it did not have to be an eye-specialty hospital, so I went ahead with it. But no matter how simple the surgery is, I still recommend that everyone should definitely get it done at a hospital specializing in that procedure..! First of all, I have thin skin, so my eyes are prone to double folds, and both times the sutures loosened because of double folds. It has been about 3 years since I had burial method on both sides, but one side loosened > I had revision burial method only on that side > and now, not even 1 year later, it has started loosening again. The truth is, eyes with double folds can loosen even after incision surgery, but what I learned from going through revision surgery is that you absolutely need to check whether proper aftercare is in place before going in.
