Hello, it's already been a year since I researched information on this community before surgery and went to Seoul in person to consult and compare clinics. It's been a long time, so I'm coming back to write my 1-year review. To start with the conclusion, if it is something that will remain a lifelong concern, I would recommend getting surgery early. My long period of worry was only about postponing the surgery date; the desire to have the surgery does not disappear just because time passes. You should do it when you are relatively young and still have plenty of time. I had it done in my late 20s, but I do sometimes think lightly about what it would have been like if I had done it at 20. That said, this does not mean the surgery itself is a minor procedure at all. I also think I was lucky and that I got good results because I met an excellent surgeon. I met doctors who run Instagram and YouTube and are said to be skilled in various communities. Over the course of a month last year, I went back and forth between the provinces and Seoul for consultations, and only at [Clinic A] did the director, [Doctor A], not just talk about surgical skill or the clinic's advantages. Instead, they took a photo of my face on a tablet and discussed with me the direction of surgery that would suit me. That was the only thing that differed from the other clinics, so I decided to have the surgery at [Clinic A]. I do not think an ordinary person needs to debate surgical methods with a surgeon, and as a consumer you should clearly decide on the design you want and communicate it. Please avoid saying simply, "Please make me prettier," and because beauty is subjective, I hope you can clearly decide on the direction you want before going to a consultation. There were no major issues until the 1-year mark. The only thing I could call a side effect was that it was hard to open my mouth wide, but it was so minor that it is hard to even call it a side effect. Right after the surgery I did not feel any pain at all, which was surprising. The swelling was at its worst until 3 months, and after 6 months it gradually started to go down, but some minor swelling remains. It may differ from person to person, but because of the nature of my work I cannot sleep much and I work long hours, so I think recovery has been slow. So I hope you get surgery when you have plenty of time. From 8 months onward, unless someone has a very sharp eye, they do not know I had surgery. They just say I seem to have lost weight or that my face looks younger. As contouring surgery is something you should finish in one operation, please be sure to compare carefully and research thoroughly before doing it. I did not have surgery anywhere else, but my experience at [Clinic A] was really good. 1. No side effects (personal experience) 2. No pain 3. Extremely satisfying surgical results 4. No need to worry about proxy surgery; you can watch the CCTV during the operation 5. [Doctor A] is like my second father Because I worried for a long time before surgery and finally had it done, if anyone has questions, I will help as far as I know. Thank you for reading this long, somewhat disorganized post. I hope everyone gets the results they want.
